Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only the data required to generate your compatibility report:

• Account info: the email address you sign in with. We use Supabase magic-link auth and do not store passwords.
• Chart inputs: the names you enter for both partners (nicknames are fine), gender, and birth date / time / location-of-time.
• Generated reports: the chart data and AI-narrated reading produced from your inputs, saved to your account so you can revisit it.
• Payment: when you unlock a reading, payment is processed by Stripe. paircast never sees your card number, CVV, or other payment instrument. We store only the Stripe session ID and payment status.

We do not collect precise location, device fingerprints, advertising IDs, third-party social-tracking pixels, or run third-party ads.

2. How we use the data

Your chart and report data is used only to:

• Generate the analysis, PDF, and derived artefacts (e.g. shareable links) you request.
• Persist your reports under your account so you can view them again.
• Respond to support requests.

We do not use your chart data to train any AI/ML model — neither our own nor a vendor’s — and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

3. Third-party processors

To operate the product we send the minimum data needed to:

• Supabase (database + auth): stores your account, charts, and reports. Encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Anthropic (AI narration): your chart structure is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate the reading. Per Anthropic’s API terms, commercial API requests are not used to train their models.
• Stripe (payments): handles payment processing under its own privacy policy.

4. Storage and retention

Data lives in a hosted Supabase Postgres database with TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest. We don’t delete your historical reports automatically — you can revisit them whenever you sign in. To delete your account and associated data, see section 7.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies strictly required to keep you signed in (set by the Supabase auth SDK). No analytics, advertising, or social-tracking cookies are used.

6. Legal compliance

• Singapore PDPA: paircast complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 as a Singapore-operated service.
• EU / UK GDPR: if you reside in the EU or UK, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Exercise them via the contact below.

7. Your rights and contact

Regardless of where you live, you may:

• Export your chart and report data;
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data;
• Correct inaccurate inputs;
• Ask questions about — or lodge complaints about — our handling of your data.

Email hello@paircast.ai. We aim to reply within 7 business days; deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days.

8. Children

paircast is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Changes

When this policy materially changes, we’ll update the "last updated" date at the top of the page and notify you on your next sign-in.
